Led by Shamma bint Sultan bin Khalifa, Alliances for Global Sustainability reveals new brand identity

Led by Sheikha Shamma bint Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Alliances for Global Sustainability (AGS) has revealed an organisational restructure and new brand identity, supporting AGS’s aims to advance environmental, social and corporate governance initiatives across the UAE.

This strategic move is designed to align AGS with its mission to advance environmental, social, and corporate governance initiatives in the United Arab Emirates, positioning the country as an industry leader in sustainability. Building on a successful eight-year track record, AGS will combine local knowledge and cultural understanding with subject matter expertise to ensure businesses in the UAE and across the region are equipped to meet their ESG goals.

The enhancement of services empowers AGS’s partners to embed sustainability across their entire value chains, ensuring that best practices are integrated at every level of corporate leadership. The new services include materiality assessments, ESG transformation and strategy, greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting and inventory, and ESG reporting and disclosure. AGS has also introduced a corporate wellness offering, recognising the role that individuals can play as ambassadors for change within their organisations and in their communities.

At AGS’s panel discussion titled Future Sustainability PathwaysSheikha Shamma bint Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Founder and Chairperson of Alliances for Global Sustainability said in her keynote address: “AGS is committed to playing a pivotal role in fostering sustainability in the UAE and encouraging local and global businesses to adopt the best ESG practices.
